2.2 Merlin DAO

The goal of the MerlinDAO project of MerlinProtocol is to create an ecosystem in which the users holding the MRN governance token have total management of the protocol. The tool that will allow the project to achieve this goal is the egalitarian decision-making model of a DAO, a Decentralized Autonomous Organization, called in our case MerlinDAO. The DAO allows for the formation of a decentralized organization in which decisions relevant to the management and future of the project are open to all MRN token holders in a fully democratic manner.

Users will thus be able to directly propose code implementations related to desirable features, which will then be added to MerlinProtocol after a vote by the MerlinDAO.

At a later stage, an airdrop-based reward program will also be envisaged for actions that benefit the MerlinDAO, such as marketing actions, development support, bug hunting and much more.
